This is a private practice: I do not work here through insurers' provider networks. If your policy is a reimbursement policy, you pay for the consultation and your insurer refunds part or all of it, depending on your contract. You always receive an invoice itemised the way insurers require.
If you would rather not use insurance, the price is exactly the same and there is no additional paperwork.

I am a consultant gastroenterologist and hold a doctorate in medicine. I have worked in the Gastroenterology Department of La Princesa University Hospital in Madrid since 2009, where I coordinate the Inpatient Unit and perform digestive endoscopy and abdominal ultrasound. I combine clinical practice with teaching, as a professor at the Autonomous University of Madrid and residency tutor, and with clinical research.
I am opening this private practice for a simple reason: demand has far outgrown what my current schedule allows, and some patients cannot afford to wait months for someone to review their case properly.

Author of publications in The New England Journal of Medicine, The American Journal of Gastroenterology, Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases and Mucosal Immunology, among others. Principal investigator in international clinical trials on acute pancreatitis and cystic fibrosis.
